Think of SnappyScreen machines as a spray-tan booth—in reverse. On a digital touchscreen in front, guests answer two questions to indicate height and desired type of sun protection (SPF 15, 30, or 40). Then they stand on a pedestal inside the wood-lined booth and get rotated while being gently spritzed with a proprietary formula of UVA/UVB broad-spectrum sunscreen.

When starting crops from seed, rapid and uniform germination are highly prized. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Hyperspectral imaging collects information based on a seed’s electromagnetic spectrum, or wavelengths not visible to the human eye. This technology is being evaluated as a quick and nondestructive alternative to time-consuming and costly seed assays.

F45 Training is a national gym chain with 1,300 locations in 36 countries. It offers 27 different 45-minute high-intensity interval training workout classes. Its workouts cycle through 4,000 different exercises so gym-goers don’t ever do the same workout twice, and their fitness doesn’t hit a plateau.
