Its nemesis for this comparison is the basic Subaru Forester 2.5i, which is mechanically identical to most variants in the range. Priced at $33,490, the Forester in this trim level is positioned $5200 higher than the CR-V Vi, and also exceeds that $30,000 threshold that may be the budget ceiling for many buyers.

You control Barsys using the company’s iOS or Android app. If you already have a couple of bottles of liquor and some mixers, you can put them in place and use the app to assign each bottle to a station. The app will then show you the recipes you can make with your ingredients. If not, the app will let you select different drinks you might like from its library. You can then see both the full list of ingredients for those drinks and the most frequently used common denominators so you can prioritize what to buy on your next shopping trip.

Goodwin, who would go on to become the park’s CEO, helped Binkowski expand plans for a park, named Fantasy Harbour in recognition of the complex the Ice Castle had belonged to. Investors thought this was too plain, so Binkowski countered with plans for a park themed around various Hollywood movies, in partnership with MGM Studios; this, he told me, turned out to be prohibitively expensive.
